Process of Registration & Admission Under the scheme
- First Search for list of hospitals in your district that has got RGJAY Scheme. You may also search Districtwise & Speciality wise.
- Once you have sorted your convenient hospital, visit the hospital with pre-diagnosed reports of your personal MD physcian / surgeon. This is not a condition for registration but it will save your time
- The volunteers of RGJAY will check the diagnosis report of the patient. Then they will scan & email the rationing card & Photo ID proof to their main centre. The main centre will verify the documents & immediately send a registration copy maximum within 30-40 mins, depending upon queue.
- Once registration is done, the volunteers will send the patient to OPD same day or may call on a particular date depending upon availability of doctor related to your health problem.
- After checkups & diagnosis the RGJAY Surgeon/Physian will give his written opinion about the required procedure or surgery.
- All related documents & Diagnosis reports (if required) are emailed by the volunteers to the main centre & sanction is released immediately. Normally they don't keep you waiting
- Important - There are only 3-4 beds alloted in each hospital for the scheme, therefore depending upon the availability you will be adjusted & addmitted accordingly.
Volunteers of RGJAY Society are real sincere & hardworking people. As per my experience they really take good care of patients & make keep the hospital authorities run on toes. But my advice to you is do not act in a commanding way or argue with the volunteers unnecessarily. If they ask you to wait then please wait, they are assigned to help you & they do their job well.
